Realme 12 Pro Plus 5G Review
I have covered a detailed overview and first impressions of the Realme 12 Pro Plus 5G below.
1. Unboxing
The Realme 12 Pro Plus 5G is packaged in a large yellow box and includes a SIM ejector tool, a 67W power adapter, a phone case, a USB Type A to Type C cable, and of course, the smartphone itself.
2. Design
I liked the design of the Realme 11 Pro Plus last year and the Realme 12 Pro Plus takes it one step further with a vegan leather design and a golden stripe at the back that even covers the camera module giving the device a premium look.
3. Build Quality
The Realme 12 Pro Plus comes in a plastic frame and weighs about 196 grams. The first thing you’ll notice while holding the phone for the first time is the in-hand feel of this smartphone which looks gorgeous.
The vegan leather adds to its comfort, making it easy to hold. I never thought it would slip from my hand while using it as a primary device for 3 days even though it has a curved display which might not be very comfortable to hold for many users.
4. Performance
Talking about the Realme 12 Pro Plus 5G performance I have nothing to complain as a casual user the device feels snappy and fast thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. The device is suitable for casual gaming, but its performance may decrease and frame drops may occur when playing graphic-intensive games.
5. Ports and Buttons
At the frame’s bottom, there is a speaker grill, a Type C port, a microphone, and a SIM card tray. On the top, there is a noise-canceling microphone and another speaker grill.
On the left-hand side, you get volume keys and power on/off switch. At the front side of the Realme 12 Pro Plus, you get an Asahi Glass DT Star 2 protection which is considered good by many tech enthusiasts.
6. Display
The device comes with a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED curved display that can go up to 120Hz and 950 nits of peak brightness. So far there is nothing to complain about the display as it is impressive with minimal bezels, providing an immersive experience when enjoying your favorite shows and movies.
7. Price
You can purchase the Realme 12 Pro Plus 5G for an effective price under 30,000 INR in India. The price can further be reduced if any offer or discount is applicable.

My Honest Review About The Realme 12 Pro Plus 5G
The Realme 12 Pro Plus is a reliable and stylish smartphone with a versatile camera setup, offering a premium look and feel at a price of around Rs 30,000 in India.
Despite some inconsistencies in its portrait mode which could be improved over time through software updates, it is a considerable choice for users looking for a mid-range smartphone that is capable of giving you a uninterrupted experience.
The device I used had a glitch that caused the volume to change on its own automatically while I was using it. Even after I turned off the smart audio feature, the problem persisted and it was quite an annoying experience for me.
In conclusion, the smartphone offers good value, but there are some bugs and glitches in the UI that need to be addressed by Realme in their updates to make it a more attractive choice for consumers.
