The OnePlus Nord CE4 follows simple yet new design approch specially when it comes to back side of the smartphone. The good thing about the design is that you get a minimal camera setup at the back and you don’t see large camera bumps around it which many users find annoying.
Also, the camera setup takes minimal space and is slightly curved on the edges giving the overall smartphone design a space to breathe.
Apart from the camera setup the back side of the smartphone also comes with a curved edge design making it extremely comfortable to use even for long hours of usage.
One thing to notice is that you won’t be getting any alert sliders on the OnePlus Nord CE4, this might not be a big deal for many users but if you’re someone who has used OnePlus smartphones in the past it is hard to digest the fact that this productive feature is no more the part of OnePlus smartphone legacy as of now.

My Opinions About The OnePlus Nord CE4
The OnePlus Nord CE4 is directly going to compete with smartphones like Nothing Phone 2A, Poco X6 Pro, Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, and to some extent even the Realme 12 Pro Plus 5G. All the above-mentioned devices have somewhat similar specifications and pricing.
I found the design of the OnePlus Nord CE4 uses a simple approach and the main focus is given to its durability and making it a value-for-money product on the other hand for example Nothing, with its latest Nothing Phone 2A can be seen integrating design innovation to make it more trendy and to give it a unique identity. The same can be seen with the Realme 12 Pro Plus and Redmi 13 Pro 5G.
Apart from the design the smartphone passes all the performance tests pretty easily and this is an area in which I think OnePlus has done great work with their Nord CE series as earlier it lacked the attention of users due to the compromise on the performance part.
The camera is something that could be a subjective thing as many users may prefer a more natural look while others may prefer sharper and punchy images. The smartphone tries to keep a balance between the both but sometimes you might need to deal with exposure issues especially when taking images in direct sunlight but you can adjust that by simply using manual focus. Also, I would like to add that the low light performance of the camera could have been better.
The overall performance of the camera is satisfactory if not great but if you’re someone who just wants to capture some happy memories casually and the camera is not something on your priority list then the OnePlus Nord CE4 is more than enough for that and it won’t disappoint you in 90% of the cases.
However, it is worth mentioning that individual needs and choices may differ from person to person i still see the OnePlus Nord CE4 as a pretty balanced smartphone that is a value-for-money product.
